From April 23 to 26, 2026, Prof. Dr. José Carlos Pachón Mateos participated in Heart Rhythm 2026, the annual scientific sessions of the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), held at McCormick Place in Chicago, United States.
On April 25, Pachón chaired, alongside Ricardo Alkmim Teixeira, the joint HRS/LAHRS session "New Frontiers at Device Indications and Implantation", devoted to new indications and implantation techniques for cardiac devices.
Chairing a joint session between the two societies strengthens scientific collaboration between Latin American and North American electrophysiology.
